Job Summary

I am seeking a dynamic and proactive Shop Manager to lead in-shop retail operations for Hoʻolawa, a beach lifestyle boutique in Napili, Maui. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the entrepreneur-owner of a small women owned retail shop. Must be flexible to wear many hats and will learn the ins and out of small business management.

Each candidate MUST be passionate about small business management, retail, supporting local brands, eco-conscious design/creation, and of course the products that we carry. It is a creative job for a self-motivated individual looking to increase their knowledge of how to run a business efficiently and effectively.

Our mission at Hoʻolawa is to change the idea that retail is wasteful and support brands and products that utilize sustainable/ethical manufacturing/ production practices. We are here to be the current of change in retail environments.

Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing productivity, maintaining high-quality standards, and management of daily shop activities.

Duties

Manage employees schedules and daily duties.
Management of shop floor and backroom; tidiness, organization, oversee restocking
Inventory tracking and processing
Manage maintenance of online website; navigation, adding new products, upkeep, fulfilling online orders.
Lead and motivate retail team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency and most of all top notch customer service.
Implement and sustain retail processes for improved flow and customer service.
Utilize Shopify POS stystem for processing orders, inventory tracking, and web management.
Plan/execute creative direction of social media campaigns, REQUIRED; experience with management of social media profiles for business.
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing sales metrics and employee sales data.
Strong analytical skills with the capacity to identify inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions for process optimization.
REQUIRED: familiar with SHOPIFY POS.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Experience:

Fashion retail: 1 year (Preferred)
Shopify POS : 1 year (Preferred)
Social media management: 1 year (Preferred)
