Req# 27089
FTE: 1.000000
About the Role
Broward Health is seeking a Multimedia Producer with strong visual storytelling, video production, editing, motion graphics, and social media content creation experience to join our in-house creative team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can shape a story from concept through final delivery. The ideal candidate can shoot, edit, animate, and create polished multimedia content that brings people, programs, services, events, and organizational messages to life across marketing, communications, executive messaging, internal campaigns, social media, web, and community outreach.
We are especially interested in candidates who know how to tell clear, compelling stories through video. The strongest candidate will understand how to shape interviews, b-roll, pacing, music, graphics, sound, and platform-specific edits into content that feels polished, purposeful, human, and engaging.
Experience creating original motion graphics and animations in Adobe After Effects is important for this role. Candidates should be able to create or support animated titles, lower thirds, branded graphics, transitions, and other visual elements that strengthen the story and improve clarity, polish, and audience engagement.
A portfolio, demo reel, or work sample link is required.
What You'll Do
- Produce short-form and long-form video, photography, motion graphics, and multimedia content for internal and external audiences.
- Develop story-driven content for interviews, patient stories, physician features, executive messages, event recaps, educational content, b-roll, campaign videos, and social-first content.
- Shape raw footage into clear, engaging stories through strong editing, pacing, music selection, sound bites, visual sequencing, and brand-aligned creative choices.
- Identify the strongest narrative angles in interviews, events, initiatives, and campaign needs, then translate them into effective multimedia content.
- Create multimedia content for web, social media, intranet, presentations, newsletters, campaigns, media relations, and internal communications.
- Create or support motion graphics in Adobe After Effects, including animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, event graphics, explainer graphics, and branded visual elements.
- Use graphics, captions, animation, and visual design elements to clarify messages, support the story, and improve audience engagement.
- Edit video in Adobe Premiere Pro and prepare final assets for multiple platforms and formats.
- Capture photography for events, campaigns, leadership needs, community outreach, internal communications, and media relations.
- Support livestreamed or recorded events as needed, including press conferences, town halls, leadership messages, community events, educational programs, or internal meetings.
- Organize, caption, export, publish, and archive multimedia assets according to department standards.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, clinical teams, executives, vendors, and internal stakeholders while following brand, privacy, and approval requirements.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, filmmaking, video production, digital media, graphic design, animation, marketing, or a related field.
- Four to seven years of professional multimedia, video production, video editing, motion graphics, photography, social content creation, or related creative production experience.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, including the ability to build a clear narrative from interviews, b-roll, music, graphics, and supporting visuals.
- Ability to identify compelling story angles and translate them into polished video, social, and multimedia content.
- Professional experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Professional experience creating or supporting motion graphics and animations in Adobe After Effects.
- Ability to create polished video content for different platforms, audiences, formats, and communication goals.
- Strong camera, lighting, audio, visual composition, editing, file export, and digital delivery skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, feedback rounds, and production needs.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when working with executives, physicians, employees, patients, community members, vendors, and internal teams.
- Portfolio, demo reel, or work sample link required.
Preferred
- Experience creating story-driven video content for social media platforms, including short-form, vertical, campaign, event, educational, or brand storytelling content.
- Experience creating original animated graphics, not just modifying prebuilt templates.
- Experience creating motion graphics for campaigns, social media, events, executive communications, explainers, education, internal communications, or branded video content.
- Experience supporting livestreams, live event production, multi-camera coverage, or similar live production workflows.
- Experience with OBS Studio, vMix, Blackmagic ATEM-style switchers, encoders, capture devices, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, YouTube Live, Vimeo, or similar tools.
- Experience in an in-house creative team, agency, corporate communications, higher education, broadcast, nonprofit, government, healthcare, or mission-driven environment.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Audition, and Media Encoder.
- Familiarity with accessibility practices, including captions and readable on-screen graphics.
- Healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
Why This Role
This is not a basic videographer role or a pure editing role. You will help create story-driven video, photography, motion graphics, social content, and multimedia assets that support real people, real communities, and communications that matter.
The strongest candidate will be comfortable moving between creative and technical work: finding the story, shaping the message, editing a clean piece, supporting motion graphics, creating content for social platforms, capturing strong visuals, and delivering polished, on-brand assets.
Work Environment This role is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL and is 100% in-office. It may require travel between Broward Health locations, off-site event locations, and community outreach sites. Some early morning, evening, weekend, or time-sensitive work may be required to support events, livestreams, media needs, campaigns, or deadlines.
Application Requirement
Please include a portfolio, demo reel, or work sample link with your application. Submissions should show relevant video editing, visual storytelling, social media content, and motion graphics or animation work. Applications without a portfolio, demo reel, or relevant work sample link may not be considered.
