MARKETING COORDINATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Function:

The goal of marketing is to raise the kind of awareness that can drive sales for the company. The goal of the marketing coordinator is to develop and execute the plans and strategies to accomplish that. Serving as the marketing manager’s right hand, a marketing coordinator stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans. Day to day, he or she may draft reports, create or coordinate content, track results, build relationships with sales teams, and otherwise support all marketing strategies. A large part of this role is proposal coordination, this is huge plus with that experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Produce Market Research: new markets and bid opportunities; maintain competition dossiers

· Monitor federal clients: United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)/Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and Department of Veterans Affairs

· Use NECO, ProjNet, FBO.gov, GovWin

· Maintain Blue Cord project tracker (new and current opportunities)

· Proposal production: content/proofreading/editing

· Proposal coordination: submitting Requests for Information, preparing forms

Experience / Education:

· BS or MS in Marketing or Public Relations

· 5+ years of industry experience

· Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills are critical.

· Experience developing thought leadership / content programs, executing unpaid and paid digital campaigns that span across multiple channels such as, SEM, programmatic, affiliate and mobile app acquisition.

· Understanding of SEO, web analytics, and how to create content that drives traffic.

· Desire to be an editor as well as a writer with impeccable attention to detail as well as strong organizational skills with excellent written and communication skills.

· Knowledge of InDesign is required.

· Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite is preferable

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
