Full Job Description

Valley Communications, Inc. has over 40 years of experience in the design and installation of integrated technology services; Structured Cabling, Security Management Systems, Audio Visual Systems and Wireless Systems throughout California and Northern Nevada.

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of technology infrastructure projects at our Sacramento, California location. This role requires a proactive leader with experience in Structured Cabling, Security Management Systems, Audio-Visual Systems, and Wireless Systems. The Project Manager will ensure project deliverables meet client expectations, budgets, and timelines while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage project teams to ensure seamless execution from initiation to completion.
Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve project goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Project Engineer, and Operations Manager, to define project scope and requirements.
Procure necessary materials and equipment in coordination with the Project Engineer.
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations.
Review and approve engineering submittals and project documentation.
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or budgets.
Facilitate effective communication among team members, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment and transparency.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in project management within Structured Cabling, Security Management Systems, Audio-Visual Systems, or Wireless Systems.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, employees, vendors, and management.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
