Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Talent & Workforce Development Consultant to partner with organizations to strengthen their workforce by attracting, developing, and retaining talent while building leadership capacity across all levels of the organization. This role provides strategic and operational support in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, workforce development, succession planning, leadership training, and professional development initiatives.

The consultant works closely with organizational leaders to design and implement workforce strategies that enhance employee performance, improve retention, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and foster a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous learning. In this role, you will design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training programs that align with business goals. Through customized training, coaching, facilitation, and workforce development solutions, the consultant helps organizations build strong talent pipelines, accelerate employee integration, increase engagement, and create sustainable pathways for organizational success.

Your expertise will foster a culture of continuous learning, talent management, and leadership development, ensuring the organization remains agile and competitive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence workforce strategies and empower employees at all levels through innovative learning solutions.

Specific Duties

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development

· Provide talent acquisition and recruitment support to attract and hire qualified candidates.

· Develop and improve recruitment processes to enhance hiring efficiency and effectiveness.

· Conduct onboarding audits and recommend improvements to strengthen the new hire experience.

· Design and implement 30-60-90 day onboarding programs for successful employee integration.

· Develop strategies to increase new hire engagement and retention.

· Support employee retention initiatives and workforce planning efforts.

· Create career pathway frameworks that support employee growth and advancement.

· Design and facilitate workforce engagement initiatives to improve organizational culture and employee satisfaction.

· Conduct culture and communication assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.

· Support succession planning efforts to identify and develop future organizational leaders.

Leadership & Professional Development

· Design and deliver supervisor and manager training programs.

· Provide individual and group leadership coaching to enhance management effectiveness.

· Facilitate communication, accountability, and professional skills development training.

· Apply trauma-informed leadership principles to strengthen workplace culture and employee support.

· Plan and facilitate team-building activities and organizational development initiatives.

· Lead strategic planning sessions and support organizational goal-setting efforts.

· Develop and deliver professional development workshops for employees at all levels.

· Provide facilitation and presentation coaching to leaders, managers, and teams.

· Partner with organizational leadership to identify workforce development needs and implement targeted learning solutions.

· Evaluate training and development initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and workforce needs.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, Workforce Development, Education, Training and Development, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, workforce development, training, leadership development, human resources, or organizational development.

· Experience developing and delivering training programs, workshops, and professional development initiatives.

· Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention strategies.

· Demonstrated experience coaching supervisors, managers, and organizational leaders.

· Experience facilitating meetings, strategic planning sessions, and group discussions.

· Experience working with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, workforce development programs, or community-based organizations preferred.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong facilitation, presentation, and public speaking skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to build relationships and establish credibility with leaders, managers, and employees at all levels.

· Strong coaching, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to assess organizational needs and develop customized workforce solutions.

· Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.

· Ability to analyze workforce data and identify trends to support decision-making.

· Demonstrated ability to lead groups, facilitate collaboration, and manage competing priorities.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
