Full Job Description

Goldblum, Pollins & Dennis, a highly rated, boutique immigration law firm located in Jenkintown, PA, seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Writer/Researcher to join our team in a part-time capacity (approximately 20 hours per week, including at least 8 in-office hours).

This role primarily involves assisting attorneys in crafting clear, compelling, and well-structured narratives to support immigration petitions for scientists, clinical researchers, and artists. The ideal candidate will translate complex scholarly achievements into accessible and persuasive language that aligns with legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft Research Narratives – Write clear, compelling prose that translates complex research into accessible language to be reviewed and finalized by subject matter experts.
Assist with Drafting Petition Cover Letters – Utilize templates to summarize documentary and testimonial evidence for immigration petitions.
Compile and Analyze Evidence – Organize, review, and synthesize supporting documents provided by clients for immigration petitions.
Obtain Additional Evidence – Conduct independent research and obtain supplementary materials from relevant sources to strengthen cases.
Ensure Accuracy – Verify that drafts and supporting documents meet necessary standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
Strong research and analytical skills for synthesizing information from various sources.
Highly organized with excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
BA/BS degree and writing/editing experience required.
