Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in financial software. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities

Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and equity.
Utilize QuickBooks and other financial software for bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and report generation.
Apply double entry bookkeeping methods to maintain precise financial records.
Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal policies.
Stay updated on financial concepts and regulations to ensure adherence to best practices.

Experience

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using financial software, particularly QuickBooks, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting standards.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
