Full Job Description

Job Summary

ZA Construction, LLC. is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist in Mendenhall, MS. This employee will be responsible for providing administrative support and requires a strong attention to detail with working knowledge of accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a high level of Microsoft Excel knowledge, billing skills and Account Receivable experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

Must have experience creating invoices using accounting software such as SAGE and/or QuickBooks
Organize, analyze and maipulate data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet daily
Write and use Microsoft Excel formulas and data validation rules to perform calculations and automate task.
Manage multiple spreadsheets and create interactive dashboards
Review and process various billing documents / forms accurately and timely.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and identify overdue accounts
Researches and solves payment discrepancies.
Receive and respond to vendor email inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain an advanced degree of confidentiality along with excellent judgement, discretion, and a high degree of maturity/professionalism.
Support all administrative aspects in the office with special projects and other duties as assigned.
This is an on-site/in office full-time position.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma

Required Skills/Abilities

Basic understanding of accounting vocabulary
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to learn and become proficient in multiple systems/software packages
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Must have experience with Accounts Receiveables
Proficient in Microsoft Excel to include formulas like if statements, nested if statements, arithmetic, and basic stats functions - imports a must.
Fast-paced, high energy, quick thinking
Must successfully submit and pass a mandatory drug test and background check

Salary is commensurate with experience.
