Full Job Description

ACCOUNTING CLERK

JB Vang is a boutique real estate development company in St. Paul, MN. We are seeking a detail-oriented person to provide administrative services including, but not limited to bookkeeping, vendor management, asset management and office support.

Bookkeeper:

Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Record day-to-day financial transactions.
Prepare and verify financial statements and reports.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy.
Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Handle payroll processing and related tax filings.
Any other bookkeeping duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Asset & Ledger Management:

Responsibilities:
Monitor and track assets.
Maintain accurate records of asset acquisitions, disposals, and performance.
Conduct regular review to ensure compliance with financial covenants.
Maintain reporting requirements to Lenders.
Collaborate with departments to assess asset needs and requirements.
Prepare reports on asset utilization and depreciation.
Prepare and communicate asset performance to clients & investors.
Any other asset management duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of asset management principles.
Familiarity with MS Excel.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

General Office Administration:

Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day office operations.
Manage office supplies and equipment.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Coordinate meetings and events.
Maintain office filing systems.
Assist in onboarding new employees.
Address general inquiries and provide administrative support.
Any other office administrative duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Associate degree in accounting/finance or 1-2 years of experience in similar positions.

Proficient in office software (word processing, spreadsheets, email).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Customer service orientation.

JB Vang is a boutique real estate development company that develops and manages a portfolio of real estate assets, community bank and other investments. We offer a compensation package that includes competitive hourly wage of $22 - $27 per hour depending on qualifications, PTO, paid holidays, sick & safe time, medical and dental insurance, long-term disability, life insurance, 401K match, profit sharing, and a cash benefit plan.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
