Manufacturing Accountant

Company: TBC-Brinadd (A Subsidiary of Isomeric Industries Inc.)
Location: 4321 W Sam Houston Parkway North, Houston, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

About TBC-Brinadd

TBC-Brinadd, a subsidiary of Isomeric Industries Inc., is a growing specialty chemical manufacturing company serving industrial, energy, and infrastructure markets. We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations through financial analysis, cost accounting, ERP management, and operational reporting.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Accountant will serve as the primary financial resource supporting manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for cost accounting, inventory accounting, ERP system support, financial reporting, and operational analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Track and analyze manufacturing costs including direct materials, direct labor, and overhead.
Develop and maintain product costing models.
Analyze production variances and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor inventory levels and valuation.
Reconcile physical inventory counts with ERP records.
Serve as the primary finance lead for ERP-related functions.
Support ERP configuration, reporting, automation, and user training.
Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, and executive leadership teams.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
2–5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, or production environment.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial analysis.
Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and large dataset analysis.

Preferred:

Chemical manufacturing experience.
ERP implementation or optimization experience.
Experience with Power BI, SQL, or advanced reporting tools.
