Description:

Then come join the SEAL Analytical technical team! Support our laboratory customers throughout the US. As an Instrumentation Service Technician you are responsible for onsite Preventative Maintenance and technical service (repair) visits for SEAL Analytical Analyzers.

What You Will Do:

Perform Preventative Maintenance at customer laboratories - replace tubing and parts and test our bench top size analyzers.
Instruct our customers in the preventative maintenance tasks needed on a daily, weekly, monthly and six month basis.
Work directly with assigned customers to schedule service visits.
Book flights, rental cars and hotels as needed for each weekly trip.
Provide assistance to customers by phone, email or in person
Repair customer instruments in our factory repair center and on site as needed.

Requirements:

2-5 years’ experience or electronic degree/certificate
Strong interest in travel - as you will be visiting customer laboratories up to 75% of the workweek. Overnight stays are normal but weekend travel is rarely required. Mostly Continental US, with some international travel possible
Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to interact with all levels of management and customers
Working knowledge of Digital Electronics, including typical test equipment such as a VOM.
Strong Mechanical aptitude
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Organized - handle travel arrangements, expense reports, customer appointments
Valid Driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport
Must be physically capable to move 50 lbs.
