Full Job Description

Summary:

This position is responsible for entering all bills into Quickbooks and processing them for payment approval, ordering materials and processing customer payments amongst other tasks as outlined below. A growth opportunity exists to assume responsibility for preparing monthly financial statements and bi-weekly payroll.

Responsibilities

· Enter all bills into AP system in Quickbooks and manage check, credit card and ACH payments to comply with vendor terms and conditions.

· Manage AP and AR process as described below

· Send weekly AP report to owner and after approval process payments per above.

· Track past due AR and contact customers as required.

· Record all payments and manage AR in Quickbooks and Smartsheet

· Order materials as directed by shop management.

· Maintain office supplies and groceries, and order or purchase as needed.

· Answer phones and take messages

· Pick up mail at mailbox and PO box on a daily basis

· Track anniversaries and birthdays for annual review purposes.

· Manage sales tax collection and payment process

· Reconcile credit card with Quickbooks

· Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

· Reconcile bank statements with Quickbooks

· Print drawings for release to shop floor

Basic Qualifications:

· 18 years of age or older and have reliable transportation to and from shop.

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions without deviating.

· Ability to read, write and speak English and authorized to work in the United States.

· Prior experience required. Prefer 3 years of applicable experience using an accounting system, preferably Quickbooks

· An accounting degree is considered a strong plus

Work Conditions:

· Work 4 x 10-hour shifts, typically 7-5 M-Thu

· Work will be conducted at a desk using a computer

This Job Is:
