Job Description:

Optico Fiber is looking for individuals with a varying level of programming skill sets to join our fast-growing company. Whether you just graduated or you are an experienced developer, we have positions open for you! Hybrid remote work is available if you meet certain criteria, but in-person work will be required some of the time. General Skill Sets:

-Programming languages must know: PHP

-Programming languages that would be good to know: Java, Perl, C# & Python

-SQL Query language

-HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

-Git & GitHub version control

-Knowledge of UI / UX best practices

As a Optico Fiber Developer, you:

- will design and develop web applications systems

- must be passionate about software development - must have a degree in computer science, engineering or related field - must be available to work on a full-time basis

- have a minimum of one year of experience in web development or comparable schoolwork.

- must be proficient with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- must be proficient with PHP and Python - have a strong understanding of object oriented programming and exception handling

- familiarity with a web application framework like Laravel, Symfony or Django

- familiarity using third party API’s and RESTful services

- familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React

- familiarity with the SQL language

- must have good team working skills - must have good problem-solving skills

- must have excellent attention to detail

- should be able to analyze your users' information system needs

- will support end user service provisioning, service deployment, and support

- will perform other duties as requested
