Full Job Description

inStriv, the region’s premier weight-loss and metabolic wellness facility, is launching an exciting new Medical Services Division dedicated to Peptide and GLP-1 injectable therapies. These services will complement our proven weight-loss program and provide clients with additional tools—supported by expert clinical guidance—to achieve long-term health and sustainable results.

We are seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner to spearhead this new division, deliver exceptional patient care, and help shape the future of medically supported weight management in our area.

Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner will lead the clinical launch of a new Wellness and Aesthetics division by providing oversight of our new Peptide and GLP-1 therapy services. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking clinician who is passionate about innovative wellness treatments, patient education, and improving quality of life through personalized medicine.

You will play a key role in:

Guiding patient dosing
Supporting therapeutic response
Providing nutrition and lifestyle guidance while on GLP-1s
Leading patients into a proper post-GLP-1 maintenance plan

Availability for a part-time, in-clinic position with the opportunity for expanded hours as services grow or full time with benefits available.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and oversee clinical protocols for peptide and GLP-1 therapies in compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vitals, medical history, and candidacy for treatment.
Provide education on administering injections using safe, sterile technique.
Provide ongoing monitoring, follow-up, and dosage adjustments based on patient response and protocols.
Educate patients on therapy benefits, potential side effects, expectations, and appropriate nutritional strategies during and after GLP-1 therapy.
Collaborate with the administrative team and medical director to refine workflows and support program development.
Document all patient encounters accurately using EHR system.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure a professional, supportive patient experience.

Requirements

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania.
Clinical experience with injections; familiarity with weight-loss medications.
Strong understanding of GLP-1 medications, dosing, monitoring, and patient support needs.
Excellent communication skills to translate complex medical information into patient-friendly guidance.
Strong organizational skills, clinical judgment, and attention to patient safety.
Passion for wellness, lifestyle medicine, and helping patients achieve sustainable health outcomes.
