Inspired Closets Vermont | Williston, VT | Full-Time, In-Showroom \ Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30

The opportunity

IIf you’re looking for a role where you’re the engine that keeps a premium design business running — this is it. You’ll be the first voice clients hear, the person who converts inquiries into booked consultations, and the operational hub for a close-knit team of sales designers and installers.

Inspired Closets Vermont is a custom closet and storage design and installation company serving clients across Vermont, upstate New York, and northern New Hampshire. We’re looking for someone with at least one year of office coordination or operations experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings genuine warmth to client interactions, and gets real satisfaction from keeping things organized and running smoothly. If you have a passion for interiors, design, or the home improvement space, you’ll fit right in.

What you'll do

Lead Generation & Client Conversion

Answer all incoming calls and inquiries before the third ring — this is your first impression
Convert walk-ins, web leads, and consultation requests into booked design appointments
Direct prospective clients to online resources as part of a structured pre-consultation workflow
Greet all showroom visitors warmly and connect them with the right team member

Sales & Designer Support

Own and maintain the sales designer calendar — scheduling, confirmations, and adjustments
Manage the CRM: log leads, track follow-ups, and keep pipeline data current
Prepare and update sales collateral and sample materials for designers
Support designers with the augmented reality design tool in the showroom (training provided)
Produce installation books from closed sales for the scheduling and installer teams
Ensure sample inventory is stocked and replenished

Operations & Reporting

Run weekly and monthly performance reports for management
Record and distribute stats at Monday team meetings; manage Zoom setup
Maintain shared drives, project archives, and completed project photo libraries
Track and order office supplies, collateral, and team materials
Manage the garment rack inventory and location log

Client Experience & Marketing

Conduct and track client satisfaction surveys
Edit and schedule the monthly client newsletter
Coordinate team celebrations — birthdays, anniversaries, and company milestones

Showroom Stewardship

Maintain the showroom’s presentation — displays, samples, and cleanliness always guest-ready

What we're looking for

Required:

1+ years of experience in office coordination, sales support, front desk, or operations
Proven ability to manage calendars, handle high call volume, and juggle competing priorities
Experience with CRM tools, scheduling software, or similar platforms
Strong written and verbal communication — professional on the phone, clear in writing
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
High school diploma required

Preferred:

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, hospitality, or a related field
Background in interiors, home improvement, retail, or design-adjacent industries
Experience converting inbound leads into booked appointments

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $44,000 – $56,000 depending on experience
