Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled ASP.NET Developer to join our innovative software engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications and backend systems that drive our digital solutions forward. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable, efficient, and secure systems that meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate developers eager to work on cutting-edge technology stacks within a collaborative, agile environment.

Duties

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and related frameworks to ensure optimal performance and user experience
Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless data exchange across distributed systems
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components built with React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for engaging user interfaces
Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design using UML diagrams, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Write clean, efficient code with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability while adhering to best practices in software engineering
Conduct unit testing and debugging using Visual Studio or other IDEs to ensure application stability across various environments including cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure
Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, TFS, SVN to manage code repositories effectively within Agile development teams

Experience

Proven software development experience with a strong focus on ASP.NET (.NET framework) and C# programming language
Hands-on experience developing web applications utilizing MVC architecture and Web services like WCF or SOAP
Familiarity with front-end development technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, React.js or Angular frameworks
Solid understanding of database design principles with practical experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB; proficiency in writing T-SQL or PL/SQL queries is essential
Experience working within Agile methodologies using tools like TFS or Jira for project management and version control systems such as Git or SVN
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), microservices architecture, distributed computing concepts, and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
Ability to develop scalable backend systems using.NET Core or.NET Framework while implementing best practices in system design for high availability and performance optimization
Strong debugging skills coupled with experience in unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality before deployment
Familiarity with application security standards including authentication protocols (OAuth2), data encryption techniques, and secure coding practices
