Full Job Description

Conflicts Analyst

Locations: Boston, MA | New York, NY | Washington, D.C. (3:2 Hybrid Schedule)

Consilio’s Direct Hire Division is partnering with a highly respected law firm to identify a Conflicts Analyst to join its growing Risk & Compliance team. This role is responsible for conducting conflict searches and analyses related to new business intake, helping ensure compliance with professional responsibility rules, client requirements, and firm policies. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm conflicts experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct conflicts searches and preliminary conflict analyses for new clients and matters.
Review and analyze conflict reports, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations to Intake Attorneys and firm attorneys.
Process new business intake requests through Intapp and prepare conflict reports.
Perform corporate research to identify affiliations, subsidiaries, and organizational structures.
Communicate with attorneys, legal assistants, and business professionals to gather information necessary for conflict reviews.
Maintain accurate documentation related to conflict resolutions and intake decisions.
Update and maintain conflict database records, matter descriptions, and party information.
Prioritize and manage multiple requests while meeting critical deadlines.
Monitor workflow submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with firm standards.
Advise firm personnel on conflicts policies, engagement procedures, and risk management best practices.
Assist with special projects, process improvements, and department initiatives.
Provide training and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Participate in rotating weekend and holiday on-call coverage for time-sensitive requests.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
3+ years of conflicts experience within a large law firm
Strong understanding of conflict-of-interest principles and legal ethics rules.
Experience using Intapp required; knowledge of Capital IQ (CapIQ) and LexisNexis is highly preferred.
Experience with intake and conflicts management systems, including Intapp Open, Elite 3E, and iManage, is a plus.
Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
High level of professionalism, discretion, integrity, and client service orientation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Additional Information

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote.
Non-Exempt Position
Bonus Eligible
Participation in a rotating weekend and holiday on-call schedule is required.
Flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Compensation

Boston: $70,000 – $90,000
Washington, D.C.: $70,000 – $85,000
New York: $80,000 – $95,000
