Full Job Description

ALKEME Insurance Agency Partner, Virtue Risk Partners, is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Lines Claims Associate to join our growing Claims Division. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day claims operation while managing commercial liability claims from initial reporting through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analytical work, collaborating across teams, and delivering exceptional client service.

What You'll Do

Manage commercial liability claims from intake through resolution.
Support the daily operations of the Claims Division and assist the Chief Counsel with claims activities.
Conduct client interviews and develop complete, organized claim files.
Draft Reservation of Rights letters and monitor litigation progress and defense counsel updates.
Assist with liability assessments, reserve recommendations, and claims reporting.
Maintain accurate claims documentation, financial records, and correspondence within the claims administration system.
Prepare reports for actuaries and reconcile monthly carrier loss data.
Help develop claims workflows, templates, and operational best practices.
Collaborate with brokers, carriers, adjusters, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant claims or insurance experience.
Adjuster's license preferred (based on state requirements).
Knowledge of Commercial General Liability, Professional Liability, Contractor Pollution, or Environmental Site Coverage preferred.
Experience in the insurance, environmental, or oil & gas industries is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available where applicable.
