Full Job Description

Cannabis Inventory & Packaging Associate — $18.40/hr

A fast-growing licensed cannabis dispensary in Washington, DC is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Inventory & Packaging Associate to help with back-of-house product preparation and inventory organization.

This is an entry-level position focused on packaging cannabis products, counting inventory, labeling items, keeping the inventory area organized, and supporting the team with basic daily inventory tasks. This is not a sales or customer-facing position.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into the cannabis industry, learn the business from the ground up, and grow with a company where advancement is highly possible and encouraged.

Responsibilities

Package and bag cannabis products accurately and neatly
Count inventory and help verify product quantities
Label products clearly and correctly
Organize products in the inventory area
Help maintain a clean and orderly back-of-house workspace
Follow instructions from managers and inventory leads
Report any inventory discrepancies or product issues immediately
Handle cannabis products carefully and professionally
Follow all store policies, compliance rules, and safety procedures

Requirements

Must be reliable and punctual
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks
Able to follow directions carefully and accept direct instruction
Must work well with others and maintain a respectful, positive attitude
Comfortable with repetitive packaging, counting, labeling, and organizing tasks
Able to stand, move, and organize products during the shift
Must be trustworthy and professional
Interested in learning, improving, and growing within the organization
Cannabis experience is a plus, but not required
Must be eligible to work in a licensed cannabis dispensary in Washington, DC (21+)
Weekend availability is required

Weekend availability is required. Exact schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Pay

$18.40 per hour

Position Type

Entry-level, back-of-house inventory and packaging role. Primary duties are counting inventory, packaging products, labeling, and organization.
