Full Job Description

Amatrol is seeking a VR/AR Graphic Designer to join our Graphical Services team in Jeffersonville, IN. In this role, you’ll create high-quality 3D art, models, and scenes for immersive virtual reality simulators and augmented reality experiences that support technical education. You’ll collaborate with programmers, optimize assets for real-time performance, and help shape intuitive, user-centered designs.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and edit 3D models, textures, lighting, and scenes for VR/AR applications.
Work with developers to design user-friendly, engaging simulations.
Test and refine graphics in VR/AR environments.
Support other multimedia and design projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Associate’s degree in graphic arts (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
4+ years of 3D art experience.
Skills in at least 3 areas of the VR/AR graphics pipeline (modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, rigging, rendering).
Experience with VR headsets and tools such as Cinema 4D, Redshift, Unity, and Substance Painter/Designer.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
