Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our dynamic culinary team! In this role, you will be the creative force behind crafting beautiful and delicious baked goods, with a focus on cake decorating, food preparation, and food production. Your culinary expertise will help deliver exceptional customer experiences through high-quality pastries, catering items, and specialty desserts. Duties

Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity
Decorate cakes and confections using piping techniques, fondant, and other decorative elements to meet customer specifications
Package finished products efficiently for retail or catering purposes while maintaining presentation standards
Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, baking, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Support food handling procedures ensuring all products meet quality standards and hygiene requirements
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders for events, retail sales, or catering services

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food industry setting
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Prior experience in food production or catering environments preferred
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
Kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in culinary tasks such as baking, food presentation, and packaging
Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and creativity in decorating cakes and desserts
