Case Manager & Medical Billing Coordinator

Somadelic Health is a physician-led practice focused on the assessment, treatment, and optimization of the mind, body, and brain. We combine advanced neurodiagnostics, interventional pain management, regenerative medicine, neuromodulation, and integrative care to help patients recover from injury and perform at their highest level.

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Case Manager & Medical Billing Coordinator to become a key operational leader within our growing practice.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, accountability, problem-solving, and creating order from complexity. You will work directly with the physician founder, clinical leadership team, attorneys, patients, and referral partners to ensure a seamless patient experience while driving efficient collections and revenue cycle management.

Primary Responsibilities

Personal Injury Case Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for personal injury patients throughout their care journey
Coordinate communication between patients, attorneys, insurance carriers, and healthcare providers
Track treatment plans, appointments, referrals, imaging, records, and case milestones
Ensure timely acquisition of medical records and supporting documentation
Maintain accurate case tracking systems and reporting dashboards
Monitor lien cases and support case resolution processes

Revenue Cycle & Billing Management

Generate and submit HCFA-1500 claims
Manage personal injury billing and lien-based accounts
Track accounts receivable and aging reports
Coordinate attorney and lien collections
Verify balances and monitor payment status
Work closely with clinical staff to ensure documentation supports billing requirements
Identify workflow improvements that increase collections and reduce administrative burden

Patient Experience & Practice Operations

Deliver hospitality-oriented patient service with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
Assist with patient onboarding and care coordination
Support scheduling and patient communications when needed
Maintain operational systems and workflows
Help develop scalable processes as the practice grows

What Success Looks Like

Within your first six months, you will:

Establish reliable tracking of all personal injury cases
Improve collection efficiency and visibility into accounts receivable
Reduce administrative bottlenecks for providers
Create consistent communication workflows for patients and attorneys
Become a trusted operational leader within the practice
Help build systems capable of supporting future growth and additional locations

Qualifications

Required

Experience in medical billing and collections
Experience with personal injury, workers compensation, pain management, orthopedic, rehabilitation, or specialty medical practices
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
High attention to detail
Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace

Preferred

Personal injury case management experience
Experience working with attorneys and lien-based cases
Knowledge of revenue cycle management
Experience with DrChrono or similar EMR platforms
Bilingual Spanish/English
