Business Development Manager (BDM): SaaS Sales

Location: Remote (United States only) Job Type: Full-Time preferred (Part-Time considered for the right candidate)Compensation: $59,000 to $65,000 base, plus uncapped commission and performance incentives Reports to: Director of US Sales

About Property Inspect

Property Inspect is a global SaaS company providing inspection software for multifamily housing, affordable housing, property management, commercial real estate, and inspection professionals.

With operations across the United States, England, Europe, and South Africa, we help organizations streamline inspections, improve compliance, and operate more efficiently through mobile technology.

We are growing, and we are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager who thrives in outbound sales, values accountability, and builds customer relationships that last beyond the first signature.

This position is for a salesperson who takes ownership of their results.

We are looking for someone who:

Is confident communicating by phone, email, video conference, and in person

Responsibilities

Generate new business through outbound prospecting and relationship building (essential) if you dont like outbound, this is not a job for you.
Manage qualified opportunities from first contact through close
Conduct product demonstrations via phone, video conference, and in-person meetings
Stay engaged with the accounts you close through onboarding and early growth. Your commission rewards retention and expansion, not just the initial sale, so the accounts you win are yours to nurture
Learn the Property Inspect platform and become a trusted product expert
Maintain accurate CRM records and disciplined sales activity tracking
Collaborate with teammates to identify growth opportunities and improve sales processes
Respond to inbound inquiries and customer questions professionally and promptly
Participate in weekly sales and team meetings
Attend 1 to 3 industry trade shows annually

Accountability and Performance Expectations

Success in this role requires:

Owning your sales pipeline and activity levels
Consistently meeting or exceeding performance goals
Retaining and growing the accounts you bring on, not just closing them
Maintaining CRM accuracy and follow-up discipline
Communicating proactively with prospects, customers, and teammates
Taking responsibility for outcomes and finding solutions to challenges
Managing your time effectively in a largely remote environment

Work Environment

Approximately 65% to 85% remote
