Full Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Network Engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing MSP environment and enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges. This role is ideal for an engineer who can independently lead network and infrastructure projects while delivering exceptional service across a diverse client base.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning projects from planning through deployment while balancing client support and day-to-day engineering responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across multiple client environments.

· Lead network and infrastructure projects including firewall migrations, server deployments, virtualization implementations, and network upgrades.

· Configure, deploy, and support firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.

· Deploy and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.

· Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions utilizing Veeam.

· Troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues across multiple technologies.

· Balance project work with escalated client support while managing competing priorities.

· Maintain accurate documentation of network architecture, configurations, and implementation procedures.

· Deliver white-glove customer service throughout all client engagements.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of network and infrastructure engineering experience.

· 3–5 years of experience working within an MSP or consulting environment strongly preferred.

· Experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.

· Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall technologies.

· Ability to independently manage multiple projects and client environments.

· Professional communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing project work and client support.

Preferred Experience

· Hands-on experience with Fortinet (FortiGate) and/or Palo Alto firewalls.

· Experience with VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, and Veeam.

· Experience performing greenfield infrastructure deployments and technology migrations.

· Experience with Extreme Networks or Cisco networking equipment.

· CCNA or equivalent networking certification preferred.

· Experience supporting K–12, commercial, or multi-site client environments is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
