About Kairos:

About the Role:

The ideal candidate is experienced with documentation of processes [process mapping/diagrams, dashboard development, etc.], strategy brainstorming, test scripts, user stories, and analysis of Client processes. Keen listeners that possess hands-on experience utilizing standard BA and administrative tools are an ideal fit for this opportunity. Must be tech-savvy and have the capacity to complete tasks fluidly and with limited direction.

Individuals should feel comfortable in client-facing situations [primarily via virtual meetings – e.g. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.]. Five [5+] years of demonstrated knowledge [Visio, Lucidchart, PowerPoint, SmartSheet development, etc.] in a remote environment is strongly preferred. Analysts with stakeholder engagement and process documentation will be given preference.

This engagement kicks off in Q1.

Ideal Candidate Possesses:

Experience in producing a range of Business Analysis outputs including, but not limited to, business requirements, test scripts, user stories, business process diagrams, use case diagrams, and user journeys.
Self-motivated and able to take leadership on areas of work assigned
Ability to see the “big picture” solution but equally drill down to low-level detail when required
Analytical ability to understand complex subjects and transferring that knowledge into required deliverables
Hands-on experience with process mapping [use of Visio, Lucidchart, etc.]; must be able to develop from team members' notes
Experience with capturing meeting notes for technical and/or senior-level discussions
Strong presentation development and delivery skills - professional, polished, suitable for an executive-level audience
Ability to suggest improvements and collaborate with others to generate ideas for improved processes

Essential Functions:

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be comfortable with fast-paced work demands and possess an ability to adapt quickly and easily; demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative work environment
Project management capabilities (running "point" on projects; creation of project plans; etc.)
Analyze and assist in making recommendations regarding complex, expansive operations/processes
Regular interaction with Senior-level personnel, as well as other members of staff at all levels of the organization

Base Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree; Hands-on experience in a professional, corporate environment is ideal
Utility and/or Engineering Sector experience is an asset
5+ years of experience supporting teams and/or senior-level staff
Intermediate to Advanced level of Visio, Lucidchart [Similar Software], SmartSheet, and PowerPoint preferred

This consulting position will be a mixture of remote and onsite [some travel to client sites may be required] - vast majority is remote .

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
