FlexTrades is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer Machinist to support the programming, setup, prove-out, and operation of advanced CNC machining centers. This hands-on role is responsible for developing machining programs, validating processes on the machine, inspecting initial parts, and supporting a smooth transition into production.

Responsibilities
- Create CNC programs using CAM software.
- Generate and optimize G-code for complex machined components.
- Set up, operate, and prove out CNC machines.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify quality requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve processes and efficiency.
- Document programming notes and maintain organized program files.
Qualifications
- Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
- Proficiency with CAM software and G-code programming.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Experience machining complex metal parts to tight tolerances.
- Knowledge of multi-axis machining, GD&T, and metric measurements preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $50/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
- Travel Pay to and from the project
- Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
- Per diem ($45/day)
- Must meet drug test requirements
