Medical Coding Opportunities – Multiple Levels $10,000 Retention Bonus

Remote work schedule for qualified out of state residents

Hybrid/Remote opportunities after successfully completing probation and training period for NYS residents

Catholic Health, is hiring across multiple levels on our Medical Coding team. This is an excellent opportunity for coders looking to grow their careers within a large, mission-driven healthcare system.

We are actively recruiting:

Inpatient Coder Analyst ($26.44-$39.66 per hour)

· Health Information Educator Auditor for Outpatient ($31.54-$ 47.32 per hour)

What We’re Looking For

Inpatient:
Active coding certification required (AHIMA)
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) is preferred. Would also consider an RHIA or RHIT eligible candidate if enrolled in an HIT or HIM program and candidate has completed coding, medical terminology, anatomy & physiology
An experienced coder with the Certified Coder Specialist (CCS) credentials would also be considered Successful certification within one (1) year of date of hire or graduation, whichever is later (AHIMA or AAPC)
Epic experience preferred
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and medical documentation

· Health Information Educator Auditor for Outpatient:

CPC, CPC-P, RHIT, or CCS is required
CEMC is preferred
Three (3) years of coding experience utilizing electronic encoders/references, and compliance software, is required

Candidates are required to take and successfully pass a CH coding test
