Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to verify compliance with electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards.
- Manage project scope, contracts, and change orders while maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Oversee procurement processes using construction estimating tools and project management software like Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, and Bluebeam for accurate cost estimation and project tracking.
- Conduct construction schedule coordination and review construction schedules regularly to ensure milestones are met efficiently.
- Supervise on-site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed in accordance with electrical building codes and permitting phase requirements.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, construction drawing reviews, and system design assessments to ensure quality control.
- Lead team members effectively by providing guidance on electrical systems design, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and system troubleshooting.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, permits, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and progress reports with precision.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and local regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects within the construction industry with a strong background in electrical engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid or equivalent tools for estimating and scheduling.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems design, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical codes including NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 standards, and local permitting processes.
- Experience in construction estimating—cost management and budgeting—along with contract management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage multidisciplinary teams on-site; excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience coordinating construction scheduling activities effectively.
- Ability to review technical drawings thoroughly while ensuring compliance during the permitting phase of projects.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams effectively.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
