Full Job Description

Responsibilities:

Analysis of KYC files for new clients (Individuals and corporates) and identification of key issues;
Assistance in assessing the risks of new and existing business relationships;
Monitoring of existing accounts to ensure that comprehensive checks are kept up to date and that account activity is consistent with the client's KYC;
Performing ongoing transaction monitoring;
Checking potential clients against internal and external blacklists and providing recommendations on client acceptance;
Assisting staff with compliance and anti-money laundering issues;
Investigating cases/potential cases of money laundering and reporting internal suspicious transactions to the MLRO, where necessary;
Providing other services in accordance with the tasks and objectives set by the Ordering Customer.

Job Requirements

Knowledge of customer due diligence processes (Enhanced Due Diligence, Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB));
Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) regulations;
University degree;
Strong organisational and time-management skills;
Proactive and determined approach;
Previous experience in a Compliance/AML role within the financial industry (preferred);
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Languages: English (Russian considered an advantage);
Ability to use Zendesk, LexisNexis, and Sumsub (Sum and Substance) is an asset.
