Job Details

We’re hiring a Controller to support the financial operations of a growing luxury residential construction company focused on high-end homes and remodels in Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Back.

This is a key role on a smaller, collaborative team where you’ll have visibility into all aspects of the business and play a hands-on role in managing the company’s financial health.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting functions including AP/AR, payroll, and job costing
Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow
Maintain accurate job cost tracking and project financials
Work closely with ownership on forecasting and financial strategy
Ensure systems and processes are efficient and scalable
Manage and optimize use of Buildertrend and QuickBooks

Qualifications:

_Construction accounting experience (custom residential preferred)

Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Buildertrend (or similar software)
Ability to work in a small team environment and wear multiple hats
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and ability to partner with operations teams

This Controller position is office-based in the Millcreek area.
