We're looking for a Supervising Producer to lead the creative and operational execution of our growing slate of kids and family programming.
This role sits at the center of our production team, serving as the bridge between the Director of Production and the day-to-day production staff. You'll oversee the full production lifecycle across multiple series—from development through delivery—while ensuring every show is creatively strong, operationally efficient, and unmistakably Doing Things.
We're looking for someone who loves building systems as much as they love making great content. You'll lead producers and crews, develop new formats, solve production challenges in real time, and help scale one of the fastest-growing kids and family businesses in digital media. This role also requires a strong understanding of branded content, with the ability to seamlessly integrate sponsor messaging into original programming without compromising the creative or audience experience.
Responsibilities:
-
Lead the day-to-day production of our Kids & Family slate, including Juicebox Jury, Recess Therapy, and new original series.
-
Oversee projects from development through pre-production, production, post-production, and final delivery.
-
Partner closely with Creative, Production, Editorial, Social, Sales, and Brand teams to execute both editorial and branded content.
-
Lead the creative execution of branded campaigns, ensuring sponsor objectives are thoughtfully woven into each show's voice, format, and storytelling.
-
Work directly with brand partners and internal stakeholders to deliver integrations that feel authentic, entertaining, and native to the audience.
-
Manage production schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent productions.
-
Supervise producers, coordinators, editors, field crews, and freelance talent, providing mentorship, creative guidance, and feedback.
-
Develop production workflows and scalable systems that improve efficiency as the slate grows.
-
Help shape new show concepts, recurring formats, and production strategies for kids and family audiences.
-
Maintain a consistently high creative bar while ensuring productions stay on schedule and within budget.
-
Make strong editorial and production decisions in fast-moving environments where priorities can shift quickly.
-
Foster a safe, positive, and organized production environment for children, families, and crew.
Qualifications:
-
5–7+ years producing premium digital, unscripted, or documentary-style content.
-
Experience overseeing multiple productions simultaneously from development through delivery.
-
Proven experience managing producers and cross-functional creative teams.
-
Demonstrated experience producing branded content, with the ability to seamlessly integrate sponsor messaging into original creative in a way that feels authentic and audience-first.
-
Strong creative instincts and an understanding of what resonates across YouTube and social platforms.
-
Excellent production management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and logistics.
-
Experience producing content with children and families while maintaining thoughtful, age-appropriate production practices.
-
Deep familiarity with both field production and post-production workflows.
-
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
-
Comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving.
-
Proven ability to develop high-performing, social-first content with a deep understanding of what drives audience engagement. Expertise in crafting compelling hooks, identifying viral opportunities, and consistently creating videos designed to capture attention, maximize retention, and drive shareability across YouTube and social platforms.
-
Based in New York City and available for regular in-person production.
Bonus Points:
-
Experience launching successful original digital franchises.
-
Background in comedy, documentary, or family entertainment.
