Full Job Description

Subcontract Administrator

Location: on site, Merritt Island, FL

Duration: 6+ month contract with potential for extension

Pay: $65-75/hr.

Position Summary

Support the administration of complex subcontracts and supplier agreements for large-scale manufacturing and engineering programs. This role manages high-value procurements, long-term agreements, milestone-based contracts, and supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full subcontract lifecycle, including solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, modifications, and closeout.
Lead procurement activities for large components, fabricated assemblies, and long-lead materials.
Develop and evaluate RFPs, conduct cost and price analyses, and negotiate commercial terms and conditions.
Establish and administer long-term agreements (LTAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and strategic supplier partnerships.
Create and manage milestone-based Statements of Work (SOWs), deliverables, payment schedules, and performance tracking.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, legal, contracts, and program teams to support procurement objectives.
Monitor supplier performance, resolve contract issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain subcontract documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

3+ years (Level II) or 5+ years (Level III) of subcontract administration, procurement, or supply chain experience.
Experience managing complex subcontracts, long-term supplier agreements, and contract negotiations.
Knowledge of milestone-based contracting, performance-based payments, and supplier management.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
Preferred: Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries, along with knowledge of procurement compliance requirements.
