Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional meal preparation.

As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety and handling procedures are followed to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring that all meals meet dietary requirements and preferences.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures relevant to the culinary field.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed customer expectations.
