Provider Support & Relationship Coordination

Serve as a point of contact for routine provider inquiries and support requests.

Contract Administration & Operational Support

Assist with preparation, routing, tracking, and maintenance of provider contracts, amendments, and related documentation.

Support contract renewal and provider onboarding processes by coordinating documentation and tracking workflow progress.

Maintain accurate provider records and contract files within internal systems and databases.

Assist with updating provider information, templates, and departmental tracking tools.

Support compliance with departmental procedures and documentation standards.
Data Management & Reporting Support

Maintain organized and accurate tracking of provider contracting activities and departmental workflows.

Assist with spreadsheet updates, data entry, reporting, and basic analysis projects.

Support data validation and audit activities related to provider contracts and network information.

Utilize departmental systems and technology tools to support operational efficiency and accuracy.
Claims & Issue Resolution Support

Research routine provider questions related to claims, contract information, or reimbursement inquiries.

Gather documentation and information needed to support issue investigation and resolution.

Coordinate with internal departments to support timely resolution of provider concerns.

Escalate issues involving complex contract interpretation or reimbursement analysis.
Professional Development

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Internship, coursework, or prior experience in healthcare, insurance, customer service, business operations, or administrative support.

The Provider Contracting & Relations Coordinator is an early-career role designed for individuals interested in building expertise in healthcare provider contracting, provider relations, and managed care operations. Working alongside experienced professionals, the Coordinator contributes to the administration and maintenance of The Alliance's provider network through provider communication, contract coordination, data management, and network support activities.
This position provides hands-on exposure to provider onboarding, contract administration, provider reimbursement methodologies, issue resolution, and relationship management. As the Coordinator gains experience and demonstrates proficiency, they will have opportunities to take on increasing responsibility and expand their knowledge of provider network operations.
