Resident Services Coordinator (Remote)

Cornerstone Property Management is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Resident Services Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a full-time remote position supporting residents and property managers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

If you enjoy helping people, communicating professionally by phone and email, and keeping things organized, we'd love to hear from you.

Compensation

$22.00–$25.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Full-time
Monday–Friday
Standard Pacific Time business hours

About Us

Cornerstone Property Management is a professional residential property management company serving hundreds of rental homes throughout Silicon Valley and the surrounding communities. Our reputation is built on responsive communication, integrity, and outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

As our Resident Services Coordinator, you'll be one of the primary points of contact for our residents. Every day is different, but your responsibilities will include:

Answering incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
Responding to resident emails and online messages
Assisting residents with rent payments, account questions, notices, and general tenancy inquiries
Documenting conversations and updating resident records in our property management software
Creating and tracking administrative tasks
Following up with residents regarding outstanding items
Supporting our property managers with general administrative duties
Escalating complex issues to the appropriate team member
Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism in difficult situations

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

Enjoys helping people and solving problems
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can remain calm when handling frustrated customers
Is highly organized and detail-oriented
Learns new software quickly
Works well independently in a remote environment
Takes ownership of assigned tasks
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

Required

1–3 years of customer service, administrative support, receptionist, or call center experience
Excellent phone etiquette
Strong written communication and grammar
Comfortable working with multiple computer applications simultaneously
Reliable high-speed internet
Professional home office suitable for phone conversations

Preferred

Property management experience
Experience using AppFolio or similar property management software
Experience working remotely
Google Workspace experience

Property management experience is not required. We are happy to train someone with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
