Full Job Description

**Overview:**

We are seeking a meticulous Copy Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring accuracy in written content. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of materials but with a large focus on legal publications.

**Duties:**

- Proofread and edit written content for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors

- Ensure consistency in style, formatting, and tone throughout all written materials

- Fact-check information to verify accuracy and authenticity

- Utilize Publication Stylebooks or other relevant style guides as needed

- Edit and refine content to meet publication standards

- Communicate effectively with team members to discuss edits and provide feedback

- Some additional office and light production duties may apply, as we are a small printing company and when needed we all help the different departments.

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in copy editing, proofreading, or related field

- Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and writing conventions

- Background in legal field is a plus

- Ability to write clearly and concisely

- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members
