In this role, you will lead technical sales strategy, drive growth, and mentor a team delivering premier Google Cloud and Collaboration Cloud solutions. You will leverage deep technical expertise and AI passion to guide complex client engagements, including Agentic and Data Transformations, and Infrastructure projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Internal Technical Strategy
- Directly manage, scale, and mentor Promevo’s team of Solutions Architects, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Oversee resource allocation, performance management, and career development for the pre-sales architecture team.
- Collaborate with Promevo's GTM and Delivery team leaders to surface market trends and customer feedback, directly influencing the development of our service portfolio.
- Ensure the architecture team maintains peak Google Cloud certification levels and stays ahead of emerging technologies.
Pre-Sales Strategy & Technical Execution
- Drive Pre-Sales Technical Strategy: Develop and execute the technical pre-sales strategy for Promevo's Google Cloud and AI offerings and Collaboration Cloud offerings. This includes defining solution architectures, developing compelling demonstrations, and creating impactful technical presentations. Execute these strategies with the Promevo sales field and Google sales field. Build deep relationships with key Google field partner engineering teams.
- Technical Subject Matter Expert: Act as a key technical advisor to sales and delivery teams, providing deep expertise on agentic transformation via Google Cloud Platform (IaaS, PaaS, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, etc.) and Google Workspace.
- Solution Design & Architecture: Serve as the chief technical advisor with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure Google Cloud and AI solution architectures.
- Enable Sales Success: Partner closely with the sales team to accelerate sales cycles, address technical objections, and build strong client relationships. Participate in key client meetings and presentations as the senior technical lead.
- Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of the latest Google Cloud and AI trends, collaboration tooling trends, product updates, and industry best practices. Drive innovation within the solutions team, identifying new opportunities and developing differentiated offerings.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to provide market feedback and influence roadmaps. Collaborate with the professional services team to ensure seamless transitions from pre-sales to delivery.
- Opportunity Qualification: Identify and qualify business opportunities, addressing technical objections and developing tailored solutions.
- Technical Proposals & Briefings: Deliver product and solution briefings, conduct proof-of-concept work, and manage technical aspects of customer proposals (RFPs) ensuring both speed and quality.
- Technical scoping process and deliverables ownership: Ensure the standardization and continuous improvement of Statement of Work (SOW) templates and Bill of Materials (BOM) generation, ensuring accurate estimates and seamless handoffs to the delivery team.
Google Relationship & Ecosystem Alignment
- Serve as Promevo’s primary technical liaison to Google’s partner engineering teams, product managers, and executive leadership.
- Maintain a deep, forward-looking understanding of Google Cloud’s product roadmap (GCP, Workspace, Chrome, Google AI) and ensure Promevo’s service offerings and IP (gPanel) are strategically aligned.
- Identify and cultivate co-innovation opportunities with Google to develop joint go-to-market solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Google Cloud Certification or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a client facing technical leadership role with progressive responsibilities and demonstrated services impact.
- Proven experience in technical cloud ecosystems, particularly with Google Cloud ecosystem.
- Deep understanding of Cloud and Data technologies and how they integrate with AI and end-user workflows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor technical information for both executive and technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster and develop relationships with customers and partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with product marketing, engineering, and sales teams.
