Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles and mobile healthcare units, is looking for an Accounting Clerk I to join our Accounting team. In this role you keep the day-to-day flow of accounts receivable and accounts payable accurate and on schedule — processing transactions, maintaining records, and supporting the vendors, customers, and teammates who count on you. It’s detailed, high-volume work that helps keep the financial engine of a fast-growing company running.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Accounting Clerk I Look Like?

Generates weekly AR aging reports and follows up with customers on outstanding balances.
Sorts incoming mail, scans checks into Google Drive, and coordinates daily deposits with the banking team.
Sets up new customers and vendors in the ERP system and keeps their records accurate and current.
Calls clients to move them from paper checks to ACH, walking them through enrollment step by step.
Scans AP invoices, processes payments through vendor portals, and prints live checks when needed.
Covers the phones, routes messages, and answers documentation requests from customers and other departments.
Pitches in on month-end close and annual audit fieldwork when those deadlines roll around.
Keeps digital financial records filed, retrievable, and organized to company standards.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, plus the ability to pick up new software quickly.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
1+ year in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support role.
Familiarity with ERP or accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and basic accounting principles.
