Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Data Entry Clerk to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our employee data systems. Your keen eye for detail and exceptional data entry skills will ensure that all HR-related information is updated promptly and efficiently. Job Responsibilities

Accurately input, update, and maintain employee information in the HR database and dashboards.

Verify data accuracy by comparing input to source documents.

Review and correct data entry errors submitted by staff.

Scan and attach relevant documents into the electronic employee files.

Assist in processing employee changes such as terminations, and personal information updates.

Generate standard reports from the HR database as requested by HR staff or management.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

Participate in HR audits by providing data reports and supporting documentation.

Respond to inquiries regarding data entry or data issues from employees or management.

Coordinate with HR team members to ensure consistency of data entry practices.

Assist with the development of data management procedures to streamline HR processes.

Ensure compliance with data protection laws and best practices.

Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.

Assist with data retrieval and analysis for various HR projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred

Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position

Engage with customers in an inviting, friendly, and professional manner to deliver exceptional

experiences

Excellent typing skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word

Familiarity with HR systems and databases

Knowledge of data privacy standards and regulations

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Capacity to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Basic understanding of human resources functions and best practices

Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies

Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies and legal guidelines
