Full Job Description

Key Must have skills:
Customer wants someone who understands Salesforce data models ideally for Sales and Manufacturing cloud, but they also need to have strong data skills and the ability to query SQL tables to assess data to aid in identifying and defining rules for migration. (Salesforce background is additive to a Data Architecture and strong SQL Skills)

Job Description:

We need a candidates who understands Salesforce data models ideally for Sales and Manufacturing cloud, but they also need to have strong data skills and the ability to query SQL tables to assess data to aid in identifying and defining rules for migration. Our team's role is assessing foundational data, translating to the new model and migrating the data to the new environment. This will be an iterative approach as the foundational teams are actively defining future state. So, this person needs to be someone who can attend meetings to understand what the functional teams are defining in their User Stories, assessing data needs for the functional stories and writing user stories. They will manage this in a migration master sheet which maps the data elements from old to new and will need to ensure the data engineers understand the plan , Salesforce background is additive to a Data Architecture and strong SQL Skills.

Must have:

Minimum of 9+ year hands on experience in Salesforce Application Development (Overall 12+ IT experience), with minimum 2+ years of experience as an Architect
Proficient with Salesforce Customizations like Apex, Lightning (Aura & LWC at least 3+ years),
Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect with a focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
Proficient in Salesforce configurations like Process builder, Flows, Single Sign On, Security Setup, OWD etc. Good understanding of Salesforce platform OOTB features vs customization
Experience in designing the integration architecture for Salesforce system.
Experience in setting up and maintaining of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes for Salesforce projects (either using Scratch Org or Sandbox based approaches)
Experience in implementing Apex design patterns. And in Large data volume migration using BULK API.
Integration experience, min 4 year of hands-on and 2+ years of solutioning experience on how to make callouts and consume external API. Must aware of all Integration patterns and implementation approaches in Salesforce, must know the different of when to use what.
Proficient in concepts like Auth 2.0 flows, Governor limits and its consideration while coding, Object model designing (consideration like LDV, indexes, skinny tables etc), archival processes, SSO implementation etc.
Working knowledge of force.com sites will be an advantage. Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs.
Architecture, Design, Development, Administration and Operational Support required.
Strong SDLC experience / Exposure to Agile
Good communication skills (esp Verbal)
Self-motivated and creative, ability to mentor and coach & lead project technical team with proper guidance
Good attitude towards upskilling in new areas of SF platform
Ability to understand business requirements, design and develop solutions within agreed timeline
