Full Job Description

Sanametrix is a minority-owned small business headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. We specialize in providing focused research and analysis, technology, and program support solutions to federal agencies.

Candidates should be self-motivated, results-driven developers with 10+ years of demonstrable experience architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying production-grade software solutions.

The ideal candidate takes initiative, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams. Candidates must be comfortable interfacing directly with clients and able to clearly translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Candidates should also be proficient in modern software development practices, including:

Front-end JavaScript frameworks
API design and integration, including RESTful principles and service-oriented architectures
Object-oriented design principles, with a solid understanding of SOLID principles in C#
Strong experience with SQL and relational database management systems
Building and maintaining scalable, maintainable, and secure applications

Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to modernize complex legacy software components and applications.
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts. Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support a solution.
Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas. Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.

Required Skills, Qualifications, Certifications:

BA/BS degree
Must be able to obtain & maintain a 5C Public Trust security clearance (US Citizenship required)
Have 10+ years’ demonstrable experience with architecting, designing, coding, testing, and deploying new products.
Designing and developing custom web applications in .NET Core, Python, and SQL Server environments
Writing clean, scalable code using .NET, C#, and TypeScript
Relational database table and stored procedure design and development
JavaScript front-end framework experience with Angular, Vue or React
Entity Framework or similar ORM
Participation in an Agile development culture (Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, etc.)
Testing and deploying applications and systems
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and an eye for details
Excellent estimating and risk management skills
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.

Desired Skills, Qualifications, Certifications:

Python experience with Pandas, Flask or equivalent, and other Python peripherals
Familiarity as a whole with the AWS platform.
Experience using Jira or other ticket tracking systems.
Solid understanding of Git source control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
