Full Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Mainframe IMS . This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chandler, AZ, Plano, TX and Jacksonville, FL(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Job ID: 26-12924

Pay Range: $65 - $73/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the maintenance, security, and performance of IMS databases, ensuring they support business applications and data needs.
Responsibilities include backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Will also collaborate with developers and other teams to implement new features and ensure smooth database operations.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Key Skills; IMS, Z/OS, Mainframe
Strong understanding of IMS concepts, including hierarchical databases, DL/I calls, and related utilities.
Experience with z/OS operating system, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and other mainframe tools.
Proficiency in using Client IMS utilities and vendor-supplied utilities for database management
