Join Our Team as a Robotics Technician:

Provide advanced robotic programming and technical expertise to deliver high‑quality system integration, startup support, and customer training—on time, on budget, and with exceptional service. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor throughout the project lifecycle, whether on‑site or off‑site, using your technical judgment and independent decision‑making to keep projects moving smoothly. You’ll collaborate closely with the project manager while taking hands‑on ownership of critical tasks that ensure our automation solutions perform reliably and exceed customer expectations.

What You Get to Do:

Apply your technical expertise to integrate, program, support, and service robotic cells—writing and refining code to ensure every system meets its functional goals and project deadlines.
Manage your workplan effectively to help control project costs and keep installations on budget.
Partner with the Integration Manager, Shop Leads/Supervisors, and the Production Manager to support projects on the shop floor and communicate project status when serving as the lead technician.
Complete and organize all project documentation—including technical checklists, QC sheets, and operator instructions—in the correct system locations.
Recommend improvements across design, build, and programming, using insights from system testing, real‑world operation, training, and customer feedback.
Support incoming service calls or parts requests when assigned and perform on‑site service as needed to keep customer systems running.
Prioritize production‑critical downtime issues, ensuring any Acieta‑built equipment that is down receives immediate attention and communicating updates daily to the Integration Manager.
Follow established customer service procedures, including call logs, trip reports, reference files, and maintaining organized, accessible records of software files for each project.
Use internal software tools to meet company computer‑utilization standards and support efficient project execution.
Collaborate with fellow technicians, backing up others on large projects and assisting lead techs as required.
Demonstrate proficiency in robot setup—including IRS, I/O configuration, mastering, auxiliary axes, and full system recovery—as well as configuring DCS with Safe I/O.
Train customers on robotic cell operation both on‑site and at Acieta facilities.
Attend and complete FANUC application training to expand your technical capabilities.
Share new technical knowledge with fellow technicians from shop experience, fieldwork, or formal training.
Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably related to the scope of the position and necessary for business operations.

What You Bring to the Team:

Up to 70% travel required, providing exciting opportunities to work on‑site with customers and support systems in the field.
2+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or technical repair or an Associate’s degree from a technical school specializing in robotics.
2+ years of primary experience programming Fanuc robots complemented by familiarity with Kuka, ABB, or various other robot brands in an industrial setting
2+ years of experience programming robots via the Teach Pendant
Familiarity various robot programming languages such as Python, Karel, C or C++
Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, engineering documents, and other scientific or regulatory materials.
Clear, professional communication skills, including the ability to write polished documentation and confidently present information to managers, customer groups, and external partners.
Solid math skills, including geometry, trigonometry, probability, and practical application of fractions, ratios, and percentages in real‑world scenarios.
Proven reasoning and problem‑solving ability, with the capacity to interpret technical instructions—written, verbal, or diagram-based—and navigate both abstract and hands‑on challenges.
Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record under company policy.
Comfort working alongside highly skilled technical colleagues, contributing collaboratively and professionally.
Ability to make independent technical decisions during projects while maintaining strong communication with Project Managers to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.

Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions SHOP FLOOR:

The following describes the typical working environment for this position. This position is primarily based in a fabrication/manufacturing shop environment and may require periodic travel to manufacturing or customer sites to support machine build, installation, testing, or related activities.
The role involves regular exposure to moving machinery, mechanical components, pneumatic systems, and potential electrical hazards commonly found in industrial manufacturing settings.
Manufacturing areas are characterized by elevated noise levels consistent with industrial operations; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, may be required and is provided in accordance with safety policies.
Work may include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and hands-on interaction with tools and equipment for extended periods, consistent with shop-floor operations.
Employees are expected to follow established safety procedures, use required PPE and comply with applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
The company provides safety training, protective equipment, and oversight to support employee health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
