Job Overview

We are seeking four Assistant Graphic Designers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing and effective designs in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential to supporting our design team by helping meet project deadlines, assisting Senior Designers with production tasks, editing existing design files, and ensuring high-quality creative work is delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities
Design Production & Creative Support

Develop visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a variety of print and digital materials, including direct mail, websites, digital advertising, social media, and print collateral.
Work closely with Senior Designers to understand project requirements and translate creative concepts into compelling visual designs.
Assist in preparing production-ready artwork and ensuring all files meet print and digital specifications.
Edit, update, resize, and prepare design files created by Senior Designers and other members of the graphics team while maintaining design integrity.
Create derivative assets and alternate versions of existing creative for multiple platforms and formats.

Brand Consistency

Ensure consistency with established brand guidelines across all projects and platforms.
Develop design elements that are cohesive, adaptable, and reusable across multiple campaign materials.

Project & Deadline Management

Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Ensure projects move efficiently through production and all deadlines are met.
Communicate proactively with Senior Designers, Project Managers, and other team members regarding project status and timelines.
Assist the design team in prioritizing work during high-volume production periods to ensure timely delivery of client materials.

Collaboration & File Management

Support Senior Designers by organizing, maintaining, and updating working design files.
Collaborate with designers, account managers, developers, and production staff to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.

Feedback & Revisions

Accept constructive feedback and implement revisions quickly and accurately.
Collaborate with team members to refine creative concepts and achieve project objectives.
Make edits and production changes to existing artwork while maintaining consistency with the original design intent.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

Associate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design skills across both print and digital media.
Experience working in political campaigns or advocacy organizations is a plus.
Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Experience preparing files for print production and digital publishing.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Creativity & Problem Solving

Strong creative thinking and visual communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, engaging, and visually compelling designs.

Communication

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Attention to Detail

Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to maintain accuracy while working on multiple projects under tight deadlines.

This is a temporary, 3.5-month position that ends on November 13, 2026.

The salary for this position is $4200-$4300 per month dependent on experience.

PCG provides a capped healthcare reimbursement $200 or company health coverage ( Plan provider KP)
