SEO Expert (Remote) – Job Description

Position: SEO Expert
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Expert to develop and execute effective search engine optimization strategies that increase organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and generate qualified leads. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and SEO analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve website visibility.
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and site structure.
Perform technical SEO audits and resolve indexing, crawling, and performance issues.
Build and manage high-quality backlink campaigns using ethical (white-hat) SEO techniques.
Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
Track keyword rankings, traffic, conversions, and other SEO KPIs.
Collaborate with content writers, developers, designers, and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices.
Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, mobile usability, and page speed.
Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.
Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports with actionable recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of proven experience in SEO.
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, local, and technical SEO.
Experience with keyword research and competitor analysis.
Proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, and SEO plugins.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for SEO implementation.
Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with international SEO and e-commerce SEO.
Knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
Understanding of content marketing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Google Analytics or other SEO-related certifications are a plus.
