Full Job Description

Overview About Us GameXchange is a player-first marketplace and media platform connecting gamers around the world. Our Impact team focuses on storytelling that grows player engagement, supports community creators, and drives strategic campaigns. We’re looking for a friendly, creative mid-level Video Editor to help shape high-quality trailers, social content, and long-form pieces. Responsibilities Edit narrative trailers, promos, social clips, and long-form videos to align with brand and campaign goals Collaborate cross-functionally with producers, motion designers, and audio engineers to deliver assets on time Manage project files, versions, and cloud-based deliverables with clear organization Perform color correction, audio cleanup, and graphics integration to produce broadcast-ready output Adapt edits for multiple platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch) with platform-optimized edits Incorporate feedback and iterate quickly while maintaining high creative standards Must-Have Qualifications 1+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally with gaming or digital media clients Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects Portfolio or reel demonstrating storytelling, pacing, and platform-aware editing Understanding of audio editing, color grading basics, codecs, and export workflows Reliable remote work setup and ability to collaborate across US time zones; authorized to work in the United States Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong communication and time-management skills Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with motion graphics, animation, or After Effects compositing Familiarity with livestream clipping and creator content workflows Background in games, esports, or creator communities Experience with collaborative tools (Frame.io, ShotGrid) and remote capture workflows Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, OBS, or game capture pipelines Location Remote - United States only.

Candidates should be able to overlap with US business hours for collaboration. Compensation Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Typical base range for this role: $65,000–$90,000 per year. Final offer depends on experience and market factors.
