Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Channel Development & Business Growth Manager specializing in Digital Packaging, Label, and Finishing Solutions for the North American territory. The packaging and labeling market is evolving fast — and we are growing with it. The Plockmatic Group manufacture our own innovative range of digital cutting, creasing, packaging, label, and embellishment solutions, designed for the rapidly expanding world of short-run digital production. Now we’re looking for a commercially driven hunter to help us build and expand our North American dealer channel.

This is not a traditional sales role.

This is an opportunity to help shape and grow a developing market for unique, manufacturer-developed technology within one of the print industry’s strongest long-term growth sectors.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive channel development strategies to expand market reach within the digital packaging, label, and finishing sectors.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, market research, and industry networking.
Drive market awareness and sales growth
Support channel partners and end users
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Lead negotiations for sales agreements, pricing strategies, and partnership terms to maximize profitability and mutual success.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that promote digital packaging solutions and enhance brand visibility.
Manage sales pipelines using CRM software such as MS Dynamics to track progress, forecast revenue, and optimize sales activities.
Oversee project management efforts related to new product launches or customer implementations to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Utilize strategic planning skills to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback for continuous improvement of offerings.
Prospect new opportunities across packaging, labels, embellishment, and digital print markets
Help build long-term market presence for an expanding product portfolio

Experience

B2B sales, channel sales, or business development
Print, packaging, labels, finishing, industrial equipment, or related technology sectors
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-starter mentality with a hunter mindset
Proven experience in sales or business development within the digital packaging or related industries.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive relationships.
Expertise in CRM software such as MS Dynamics or similar platforms for managing customer interactions and sales data.
Excellent project management capabilities to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
Deep understanding of customer relationship management principles to foster long-term client loyalty.
Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to digital packaging solutions to support growth initiatives.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop actionable plans based on market insights and data analysis.
