Full Job Description

Job Summary

The Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization’s daily operational functions within a healthcare environment. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, ensuring that operational processes support the organization’s mission, growth, and long-term objectives.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, results-driven leader with a strong background in healthcare operations management. This role requires expertise in process improvement, patient flow optimization, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness. The Director will lead cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and ensure high standards of quality and service delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of daily operations across departments
Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance patient experience
Oversee patient flow strategies to improve access, throughput, and care coordination
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies
Lead and manage audit preparation and ongoing compliance monitoring
Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational planning and performance goals
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support business development initiatives and growth strategies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in senior leadership roles within operations management or a similar capacity.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent negotiation skills with experience in managing vendor relationships.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, inspire others, and drive organizational change.
Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of business development principles.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
