Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our office operations by performing various administrative tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The Clerical Assistant will contribute to maintaining a smooth workflow and ensuring that all clerical duties are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

Manage and organize files, ensuring all documents are properly categorized and easily accessible.
Assist with front desk operations, greeting visitors and handling inquiries with professionalism.
Answer phone calls and maintain excellent phone etiquette while providing information or directing calls as needed.
Support office management tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and tracking expenses.
Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient administrative processes are upheld.
Perform other clerical duties as assigned to support overall office functions.

Requirements

Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
Familiarity with office management practices and procedures.
Experience as a medical receptionist or in a front desk capacity is a plus.
Proficient in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for document creation and management.
Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
