Role Title

Junior Platform Developer- (ETL Conversion Specialist) Job Description

Position Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Platform Developer - ETL Conversion Specialist to support data conversion and cleansing efforts. The role involves assisting with ETL workflow development, source-to-target data mapping, and validation activities. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of ETL concepts, SQL, and data quality practices. Working closely with senior team members, the candidate will help ensure accurate data migration, support documentation efforts, and resolve basic data issues. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in enterprise data transformation projects and ETL development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop ETL jobs using Azure Data Factory or Informatica converting legacy data into future-state data model Collaborate with Data Conversion Analysts to establish comprehensive documentation for all data migration processes and procedures, including data conversion plans, detailed data mapping documents, and operational playbooks. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless data integration. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges related to data migration, implementing effective solutions to maintain project momentum. Communicate project status, challenges, and successes clearly and concisely to all relevant stakeholders. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to document tasks clearly, engage with stakeholders, and actively contribute to a collaborative team environment while embracing feedback and continuous learning.
